Three Blue Ducks
Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay is set on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with views of both the hinterland and Byron's iconic lighthouse offering a beautiful backdrop for a meal at any time of the day.
The Ducks is a great story of food, born in the surf! It all started with three good mates traveling the world, cultivating ideas around a better, more sustainable approach to living. Somewhere there, in a shared belief in good ethical food, Three Blue Ducks was hatched. They encourage you to grow what you can, buy food mindfully, buy it locally, cook it thoughtfully and waste nothing where you can. At Three Blue Ducks, they stand by a set of principles that encourage them to implement ethical and sustainable business practices on all levels. They work with honest suppliers that they like who have the best quality produce. They are committed to creating interesting dishes, banging with flavour that are simple and a bit rough around the edges. They are less white tablecloth dining and more a come-as-you-are kind of vibe. It's a Duck thing!
They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. They do weddings and all sorts of events, but then you can also bring your own picnic rug and eat out in the fields. Stop by their produce store and fill your bag with house made goods, locally sourced cheeses, charcuterie, fruits grown on site, nuts, berries, and bread from their friends and next door neighbours, The Bread Social. Wander along the farm trail past the pigs in their mud bath, the 700 Bond Brown chickens that lay their eggs, past the macadamia orchard and the fields planted with the produce that they serve in the restaurant. Find a spot you like, spread out your rug and feast at your own leisure.
